Brief
Were looking for a planning-led specialist to build, baseline and control integrated schedules across complex, multi-workstream change.
Youll run focused planning sessions with workstreams and stakeholders, assure data quality, and provide clear MI through programme governance - keeping dependencies, critical path and risks tightly managed.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, baseline and maintain integrated project plans across multiple workstreams - covering scheduling, dependencies, resourcing and critical path.
* Lead focused planning workshops with SMEs and stakeholders; set up and maintain effective project structures and clearly communicate the plan and process.
* Track progress and manage change control, including variances against baseline, and report plan status through programme governance.
* Assure data quality and produce clear MI/visual reports (timeline, critical path, RAG, risks, due/overdue tasks) for decision-
* Advise on planning approach, tools and processes, support risk identification/mitigation, and keep delivery aligned to target outcomes and dates
Essential Experience
* Proven track record building, baselining and controlling integrated multi-workstream plans covering scheduling, critical path, dependencies, resourcing and baseline management.
* Advanced Microsoft Project (essential) with strong Project Online (POL) exposure; delivers accurate plan data and MI through programme governance.
* Practical change control & variance tracking experience; able to run focused planning, dependency and risk sessions.
* Working knowledge of Agile practices; familiarity with PRINCE2/MSP and Scrum; awareness of Government Standards.
* Desirable: OnePager/POAP for plan visuals, cutover planning, and earned value analysis (EVA) for performance tracking.
