Job role: HR Data and Payroll Coordinator

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours per week)

Role Overview

As a HR data and Payroll Co-ordinator, you will join our HR Operations team in Liverpool and be responsible for supporting the wider HR management information and payroll teams. You will become an expert in the integrated Payroll and HR System, reporting to the Payroll Manager and have a dotted line to the HR Systems Manager.


Key Responsibilities

* Producing, analysing and distributing regular monthly HR management information
* Providing additional support to the HR team by producing ad-hoc reports and data analysis.
* Document and map out team processes
* Produce reports on equality, diversity and inclusion data
* Support with gender and diversity pay gap reporting
* Data cleansing and auditing
* Setting up New Starters, processing leavers and making various payroll adjustments.
* Calculation of statutory payments and deductions, SSP, SPP and SMP
* Calculate and process benefits via salary sacrifice
* Pension Processing
* Dealing with Auto enrolment and Assessment
* Process RTI submissions to HMRC
* Accurately issue P45’s and P60’s
* Managing queries relating to pay
* Posting of the monthly payroll journal
* Assistance with the P11D process and transition to payrolling benefits
* Payroll reporting
* Reporting from Choice Flexible Benefits system including monthly reports


What Are We Looking For

Important criteria:

* Previous experience of processing payroll and using a recognised payroll software.
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Professional Customer service
* Knowledge and understanding of financial information
* Process driven
* Able to prioritise and manage workload
* Proficient in Excel and able to analyse large amounts of data
* Proactive approach

It would be beneficial for you to have some of the following:

* Experience in the legal industry
* Knowledge of Dayforce
