Are you passionate about technology and great with people?
We’re working with a forward-thinking, education-focused organisation whose mission is to provide exceptional education at the heart of the community. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join their friendly and supportive team.
You will already have some experience of providing IT support in a user facing environment, ideally within the education sector, and you will be looking to progress your career within a large organisation with 50+ sites across the UK.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the smooth running of IT systems to help teaching and learning, run efficiently
Providing technical support both in classrooms and deskside across a number of local sites
Helping staff and students with their use of IT and AV equipment
Setting up and maintaining PCs, Macs, and other devices
Installing and updating software, managing access rights, and keeping systems secure
Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues
Collaborating with the wider IT service desk team to share knowledge and offer training
What we’re looking for:
Some hands-on experience in IT Support, in a user facing environment, ideally within the education sector.
Strong communication skills and a helpful, solutions-focused attitude
Interest or experience in audio-visual (AV) equipment is a bonus
Any Microsoft or IT certifications (e.g. MCDST, MCP) are a bonus
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car is preferred due to some local travel required
