LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO START ASAP
We are looking for a proactive individual to join our client in a full transactional role. This position will involve managing all aspects of the sales and purchase ledgers, processing the cash book, handling point of sale income and addressing financial queries for the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently as a stand alone finance resource, while also being happy to support with additional office based duties as required.
Duties
* Full bookkeeping across the organisation
* Managing the purchase ledger, including supplier invoices and payments
* Managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely invoicing and payment follow-up
* Performing bank reconciliations accurately and on schedule
* Processing sales transactions and ensuring correct posting
* Processing month end procedures and reporting
* Assisting with preparation of profit and loss statements
* Conducting regular data review to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Handling day to day credits and refunds efficiently
* General office support roles as and when required
Experience
* Computerised accounts systems experience and training
* Good IT skills including practical experience of MS Excel
* Numeracy and accuracy in transactional work
* Transactional input
* Experience of using Xero
* Ability to multi-task
