We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Senior Retail Sales Advisor to join the team at our Brewers Decorator Centre in Hastings. You will provide exceptional service to our customers in store, play a vital part in keeping the branch running smoothly and efficiently, and support the Branch Manager. Experience with our products is not strictly necessary – a natural leader with strong customer service, sales and teamwork skills will succeed.

Opening hours
Monday to Friday 7am-5pm, Saturday 8am-5pm.
About the role
As a Senior Retail Sales Advisor with Brewers, you will:
* Assist the Branch Manager with branch and team development, including deputising in their absence.
* Provide exceptional service to customers, maintaining the company reputation for quality.
* Hold keyholder responsibilities, cash up and manage associated supervisory tasks.
* Allocate work to the team, keeping them motivated and driven.
* Use product knowledge to recommend solutions and help customers find the best product for their needs.
* Plan and agree sales forecasts with the Branch Manager in line with company targets.
* Ensure orders and enquiries are dealt with and followed up promptly.
* Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the branch network.
* Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and provide a comprehensive service.
* Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales.
* Assist with stock maintenance in the branch.
We are looking for
* Experience in a retail environment, ideally in a team leader or supervisory role.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and deliver great results.
* Approachable, friendly personality and willing to help customers and colleagues.
* Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues to achieve the highest level of customer service.
* Ability to work well as part of a team but also independently.
* Willingness to learn, develop skills and progress within the industry.
* Ideally lives within close proximity to the store to respond to potential alarm calls out of hours.
* Interest in the decorative industry is advantageous but not essential; product training will be provided.
