I am currently hiring for a Sales Manager on behalf of our client. Our client is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead revenue generation across Line Maintenance operations and the Learning Solutions Division, which includes UKCAA / EASA Part-147 and Part-145 technical training as well as corporate training programs.

Location: Remote - With lots of travel and frequent visits to Stansted HQ
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 17.00, Friday 8.30 to 14.30
Responsibilities
* Lead commercial growth across the client's global Line Maintenance network.
* Own all associated revenue targets (monthly, quarterly, annual) and pipeline performance.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships with airlines, lessors, and MRO partners.
* Manage contract escalations, renewals, and commercial terms in line with inflation and agreed indices.
* Evaluate contract efficiency by assessing station-level revenue performance, costs, and pricing models.
* Serve as the escalation point for service delivery or operational issues, working closely with Engineering, Planning, and Quality teams.
* Partner with Finance to monitor account health, including debtor performance and overdue recovery.
* Contribute commercial insight to strategic planning, pricing, and service innovation.
* Support business development across technical and corporate training portfolios.
* Sell EASA Part-147 training (basic, type, continuation) and Part-145 regulatory courses.
* Develop and manage proposals for corporate training engagements.
* Structure training offers to meet client needs, including digital formats like remote delivery, blended learning, and eLearning.
* Collaborate with training teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
* Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
* Maintain an accurate CRM for forecasting and reporting.
* Participate in bid reviews, tenders, and proposals to maximize success.
* Represent the client at industry events and conferences.
* Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
* Work with Marketing to support campaigns and develop sales content.
* Build visibility using LinkedIn and other digital platforms.
Training & Knowledge Required
All applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
* Proven target-driven sales performer with a track record of exceeding goals.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
* Excellent relationship-building skills.
* Aviation background is a plus.
* Ability to close deals and grow accounts.
* Experience managing full-cycle B2B sales opportunities.
* Understanding or interest in aviation services, maintenance, or training environments.
* Excellent communication and proposal writing skills.
* Comfortable with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and Microsoft 365.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Willing to travel across the UK and internationally.
