We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to support the Restaurant Manager at The Cadogan, London in the daily operations of our prestigious restaurant. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service, maintaining the highest standards of quality, and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Main duties & responsibilities:
* Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the restaurant.
* Ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
* Supervise and train restaurant staff in accordance with established standards and procedures.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow and timely food delivery.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the restaurant.
* Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
* Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
* Implement and maintain effective service standards and procedures.
* Assist in developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role in an upscale restaurant or luxury hotel.
* Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
* Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Additional requirements:
* Degree or diploma in hospitality or related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in leading restaurant software and point of sale (POS) systems.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
* Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
