The Role
As our New Product Development Manager, you'll
own the full product lifecycle
– from concept through to launch. You'll design and deliver a
rolling three-year innovation pipeline
, working closely with our UK design team, overseas suppliers, and commercial leaders to ensure every product is both
desirable and commercially successful
.
This is a highly visible role, blending
creativity, commercial thinking, and technical execution
. Whether it's pushing boundaries in design, introducing smarter materials, or optimising packaging and compliance, you'll be at the heart of our client's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a
3-year product pipeline
, ensuring continuous innovation.
* Manage end-to-end product development: concept, sampling, prototyping, approvals, and launch.
* Collaborate with internal design, marketing, and supply chain teams plus
external partners in Far East
.
* Own project management – deadlines, budgets, and cross-team communication.
* Deliver
best-in-class products
that blend function, performance, and lifestyle appeal.
* Manage pricing structures, SKUs, and BOMs while supporting forecasting and commercial planning.
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps.
* Ensure all products meet compliance standards (UKCA, CE, WEEE, EU Rep).
* Analyse sales and product lifecycle performance, refining future strategies.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in
product development
within
fashion, lifestyle, performance sports, consumer products, or tech
.
* Proven success building
multi-year product pipelines
.
* Commercially minded with strong
data analysis and forecasting skills
.
* Experience working with
international suppliers
, ideally Far East.
* Comfortable balancing
creative thinking

commercial discipline
.
* Strong communication and project management skills – able to lead cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of compliance standards for UK/EU/ROW markets.
