* Management of quality, scope, budget, and schedule.
* Preparation of technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction and serving as discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer in project meetings.
* Participation in project proposals, suggesting proactive solutions to client issues, and mentoring junior team members.
* Implement designs for control of processes.
* Develop specifications and requisitions for instrumentation bids and procurement based on project, process, and client requirements.
* Design electrical circuits and panels for PLC, DCS, and other control applications.
* Develop functional descriptions/sequences of operation for control system programming.
* Estimate engineering effort and total installed cost for controls and instrumentation for new and existing facilities.
* Provide process control and instrumentation input to P&IDs.
* Manage scope, schedule, and budget for smaller projects or parts of larger projects.
* Supervise other engineers and designers (local, remote, and out of the country) to achieve project results.
* Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines to support the entire project.
* Direct activities to ensure construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements.
* Develop designs that require innovation and ingenuity.

We’ll support you to succeed, providing the resources you need to bring creativity, ambition, and excellence to each project.

Qualifications

* Extensive and progressive experience; BS or MS in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related engineering discipline.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Willingness to participate in fast‑paced, high‑quality, highly integrated projects.
* Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
* Periodic travel to client offices, plants, and sites, including international locations.

Desired Skills

* Experience using database‑driven instrumentation tools.
* Experience with building automation/management systems.
