Full training and support will be given to trainee candidates. Centre-based delivery in North Wiltshire. 37 hours per week.
Your duties will include:
* Deliver engaging Welder training, to military trainees, utilising MMA, MIG/MAG, FCAW, TIG and OA.
* Coach, support and motivate learners throughout their training programme and provide revision training as required.
* Carry out visual and destructive testing of welds.
* Invigilate, mark and assess practical and theoretical examinations and weekly progression tests.
* Prepare lesson plans and support materials.
* Review material/content to ensure it is current and reflects new technology and equipment advances.
* Maintain training equipment.
* Supervise learners and visitors to ensure compliance with H&S.
* Assist with manufacturing tasks and welding-related repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Candidates must hold a recognised level 3 qualification in Welding (Apprenticeship, or equivalent)
* Must hold a minimum 3 years’ experience in a welding environment
* Must hold supervisory experience
* Good working knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages
* Hold OR be willing to work towards a Level 4 Teaching Qualification.
* Confident to deliver classroom based / group training (full training and resources provided)
* Hold or willing to undertake DBS clearance
