Brownlee Cale are seeking an MEP Lead to oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across major civils infrastructure projects in Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities * Lead the MEP design and delivery process across water sector projects, from feasibility through to commissioning. * Oversee multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with civil and process engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. * Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications to meet industry and regulatory standards. * Interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, acting as the technical point of contact for all MEP-related matters. * Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., CDM, WRAS, WIMES). * Support procurement activities, including vendor selection and material approvals. * Drive innovation and sustainability in system design and operation. * Monitor progress, budgets, and resource allocation, reporting to senior management as needed. Requirements * Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent. * Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it is highly desirable. * Proven experience leading MEP engineering on complex infrastructure projects * Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. * Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools is an advantage.
