Position
Finance Analyst – Location: London (Westfield); Department: Finance; Reporting to: Head of Finance; Working Model: Hybrid; Contract: Permanent; Experience Level: Entry level.
Role Purpose
As an early‑career finance professional, you will dig into the business numbers, build reports, support monthly close processes and uncover insights that help the business make better decisions.
Responsibilities
* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports and support monthly board reporting.
* Support trade analysis – communicate insights against budgets and forecasts, provide variance analysis and highlight risks and opportunities.
* Challenge business assumptions with data‑driven recommendations that improve profitability.
* Build and maintain financial models to evaluate sales, margin and cost performance.
* Deliver accurate financial analysis to support Finance Business Partners and business decision‑making.
* Support budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
* Deliver month‑end close activities, including preparation of accruals and correct cost recognition across cost centres.
Qualifications
* Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (preferred).
* Strong Excel and analytical skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to communicate financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
* Interest in developing a career in commercial finance / finance business partnering.
