Job summary
It is essential that the post-holder should hold the MRCP (UK) or an equivalent qualification and be on the GMC specialist register or will obtain a relevant CCT/CESR(CP) within 6 months of interview.

1. Monday: Ward referrals (0.5 PA), Neurology Clinic 2ww/urgent (0.5 PA), Admin (0.5 PA), Radiology meeting (0.25 PA), Admin (0.25 PA)
2. Tuesday: Neurology Clinic (1 PA), Ward referrals (0.5 PA), Admin (0.5 PA)
3. Wednesday: Neurology clinic (1 PA), Study/SPA (1 PA)
4. Thursday: Teaching (0.25 PA), Neurology clinic (1 PA), MDT work (0.25 PA), Trainee supervision (0.25 PA), Ward referrals (0.25 PA)
5. Friday: Academic SPA (1 PA), Ward referrals (0.5 PA), Admin (0.5 PA)

Person Specification
Essential: GMC registration, relevant specialty degree, completion of Specialty Training or within 6 months of achieving it, effective team working, leadership skills, high-level organizational and communication skills.
Desirable: MD, PhD, higher degrees, medical education qualifications, experience in curriculum development, research, publications, or presentations.
