Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, versatile Electrical Engineer to join our technical services team. This role is central to keeping our client sites operating smoothly, from installing LED lighting and CCTV systems to servicing commercial machines and troubleshooting a wide range of electrical issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment across retail and laundromat sites.
* Fit and configure LED lighting, CCTV cameras, and commercial machinery.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and technical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
* Carry out planned inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
* Ensure all electrical work meets UK regulatory and safety standards.
* Support shop-fit and refurbishment projects, including wiring and system upgrades.
* Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and compliance checks.
* Collaborate with the wider IT and operations teams to deliver high-quality service.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant electrical qualification (NVQ, diploma, or equivalent) – certification/licensing preferred.
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer/Technician in a commercial or industrial setting.
* Strong understanding of low and high-voltage electrical systems.
* Practical knowledge of LED systems, CCTV, and machine wiring.
* Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility to work across multiple store sites.
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
