Plant Fitters (EKFB Project)
Potter Plant Hire are expanding our team and looking for experienced Plant Fitters to join an exciting permanent full‑time role. Monday to Friday with weekend availability.
💰 Competitive rates based on experience. ⏰ Plenty of overtime availability.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair plant equipment and attachments.
* Order parts and maintain comprehensive electronic records for all plant and equipment.
* Demonstrate performance of all pre‑hire checks, PDI’s, routine servicing, statutory inspection and breakdown repair.
* Report any defect in plant and monitor safety performance.
* Carry out services, repairs and maintenance in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a plant fitter within the plant hire industry.
* Responsible, accountable and methodical with good attention to detail.
* Team player with a can‑do attitude.
* Polite, customer focused and desire to do a good job every day.
* Hold a current driving licence.
* Manage workload and keep records of servicing intervals and maintenance.
* Ability to operate machines and attachments and awareness of rules, regulations and requirements related to plant – an advantage.
