Intrust Health is looking for Mental Health Support Workers to join our team
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll work directly with service users to support their wellbeing and daily activities.
Your role is to:
• Build positive relationships with patients
• Encourage engagement in meaningful activities and conversations
• Help to calm and de-escalate challenging situations when they arise
• Promote independence, dignity, and respect
What We’re Looking For
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Patience, empathy, and a calm approach under pressure
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a supportive team
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Minimum of 6 months experience working within mental health
• Restraint Training ie MAPA/PMVA
