Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stockbridge
Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role in a dynamic environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established operation where you'll play a vital part in keeping equipment, machinery, and facilities running smoothly.
The Role
You'll be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing
Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs
Maintaining machinery, plant, and site facilities
Supporting spare parts management and stock control
Working closely with the wider team to prioritise workloads
Upholding high standards of health, safety, and hygiene
Working Pattern
44 hours per week
Flexibility to work across 4 or 5 days
1 weekend in 3 (with 2 days off in the week when worked)
Participation in a shared out-of-hours callout rota
Salary
£48,000 - £52,000 DOE
What We're Looking For
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (Level 3 or above)
18th Edition qualification
Experience with motors, drives, fault finding, and control systems
Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
Welding skills (advantageous)
A proactive, problem-solving mindset
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Full UK driving licence - essential
Additional Requirement
Due to the location, candidates must be able to drive and have their own transport.
