Contract Role: Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer - Structural Analysis Team | Filton A leading aerospace engineering team is seeking a Contract Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) Engineer to support a variety of wing-related structural analysis projects. This is a great opportunity to contribute to technically challenging work across multiple aircraft programmes, from development through to in-service support. This 6-month contract offers the chance to work alongside experienced specialists in a collaborative, technically focused environment. Key Responsibilities Approve F&DT deliverables and lead the resolution of structural issues. Manage the technical scope of assigned tasks and projects. Apply innovative thinking and cross-industry experience to engineering solutions. Support and mentor junior engineers in both technical and behavioural development.Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in structural engineering and analytical techniques. Strong understanding of aircraft structural design principles. Background in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis; ideally with or close to signatory approval. Degree-qualified in engineering with a focus on structural analysis.
