Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products needed to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, KODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It is a national network with a 1,500-strong workforce and a management team committed to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that recognises and rewards its staff, encouraging continuous learning and development.
Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
Job Opportunity
What will you be doing?
As Centre Manager, you will lead, manage, and motivate your TPS team to meet business plans and objectives, ensuring excellent customer service, developing strategic plans, and maintaining efficient processes to run a successful TPS Centre.
* Achieve Centre targets and business objectives
* Translate sales targets into departmental goals and set challenging yet achievable objectives
* Motivate, recognise, and incentivise the team
* Create Personal Development Plans and monitor progress, providing support as needed
* Develop a Manpower Plan and establish a succession plan
* Foster a customer-centric culture
* Maintain high customer satisfaction levels
* Implement sales strategies to increase revenue
* Monitor business performance regularly and identify improvement opportunities
* Analyse market data to understand sales opportunities
* Work towards achieving the business plan and budget, controlling costs and maintaining Gross Margin levels
* Ensure compliance with standards, legal, financial, and ethical guidelines (including Warranty)
* Maintain effective stakeholder relationships
* Ensure the security of stock and premises
Essential Skills
