For more than 30 years, we’ve delivered vital services including homelessness support, domestic abuse services and youth counselling - helping over 7,000 people each year to move forward safely and with confidence. We’re now looking for a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker to join our dedicated team in Leyland. This is a rewarding opportunity to support survivors of domestic abuse through trauma-informed, person-centred interventions that genuinely change lives. About the Role As a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker, you will provide high-quality, survivor-centred support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. Working in line with our values of kindness, dignity, empowerment and partnership, you will help people to increase safety, rebuild independence and achieve longer-term stability. You will: Deliver one-to-one and group-based outreach support to people experiencing or at risk of domestic abuse Manage a varied caseload, completing risk assessments, safety plans and tailored support plans Provide practical and emotional support, ensuring survivors feel heard, respected and empowered Work closely with partner agencies including housing, health, safeguarding, children’s services and criminal justice Support access to safe accommodation options such as refuge, sanctuary schemes, respite, move-on housing and resettlement Contribute to outreach, early intervention and awareness-raising activity within the community This role combines advocacy, emotional support and practical problem-solving to help survivors move forward with confidence.
