Join to apply for the PRO HORTICULTURAL AREA SALES MANAGER role at Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd
Reporting directly to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sale of Horticultural Machinery, both new and used, including its associated equipment. Your focus will be on golf, councils, and large estates, visiting customers and maximizing sales opportunities in a courteous and effective manner.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Good knowledge of the Horticultural industry and its equipment
* Proven sales, service, or parts experience within this sector
* Ability to achieve sales performance targets set by the line manager
* Representing the dealership and portfolio of brands to customers within your sales area
* Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge
* Attending customer-focused events
* Ensuring product delivery aligns with brand and company guidelines, providing first-class customer experience
* Building strong, loyal customer relationships
* Excellent customer service skills both face-to-face and over the phone
* Target-driven with upselling skills to exceed targets
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Influencing and persuading skills with the ability to close deals
* Ability to demonstrate equipment when necessary
* Full driving license required
* Organizational skills for administrative tasks
Additional Information
* Start date: Immediate, subject to notice period
* Hours: 42.5 hours/week, 8am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with additional hours including weekends during peak periods
* Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, plus commission and company car
