Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a large, enterprise-scale environment
* Strong hands-on experience with Juniper technologies
* Practical experience with Apstra and Mist
* Solid background in Enterprise Routing & Switching
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Experience working in a service-critical, regulated environment
* Previous NHS experience (desirable)
* Juniper certifications (e.g. JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP) (desirable)
* Experience supporting network automation or modernisation initiatives (desirable)
Responsibilities:
* Support, maintain, and develop the Trusts enterprise network infrastructure
* Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Juniper-based routing and switching environments
* Work with Juniper Apstra for network automation, assurance, and data centre operations
* Support Juniper Mist wireless and cloud-managed networking solutions
* Provide operational support across LAN, WAN, data centre, and wireless networks
* Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects
* Ensure high availability, performance, and security aligned with NHS standards
* Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and third-party suppliers
* Maintain clear technical documentation and network diagrams
