An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Property Litigation Solicitor to join a leading Legal500 and UKTop 200 law firm. This role is perfect for a solicitor with a few years of experience who is looking to take on more responsibility and support the development of junior lawyers in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing a range of high-value property disputes. You will advise a varied client base, including commercial landlords, tenants, developers, and landowners, while taking a lead role on complex and high-profile matters. As part of this role, you will also supervise and mentor junior members of the team, helping to foster their professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading a diverse caseload of residential and commercial property disputes
* Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, rent arrears, and possession claims
* Managing disputes related to boundaries, rights of way, and property damage
* Drafting high-quality pleadings, settlement agreements, and correspondence
* Representing clients at hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
* Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, providing guidance and support
* Managing and progressing your own caseload while contributing to the development of the wider team
Candidate Requirements:
* 5–8 years’ PQE with a strong background in property litigation
* Excellent technical knowledge of property law and litigation procedures
* Proven experience in managing complex cases and leading client relationships
* Strong drafting and communication skills
* A collaborative and team-focused approach, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior colleagues
* A proactive, client-focused attitude with commercial awareness
