Long Term Futures are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Mansfield. This role involves 1:1 support in a KS1/KS2 SEND setting, ideal for someone confident in managing challenging behaviour and helping pupils with additional needs thrive academically and socially.
Your Role:
* Deliver personalised 1:1 support to pupils with SEND needs
* Help pupils access the curriculum through tailored strategies
* Promote positive behaviour, independence, and resilience
* Support the class teacher with interventions and daily routines
We're Looking For:
* Experience as a teaching assistant, teacher assistant, or learning support assistant
* Confident managing behavioural challenges in KS1 or KS2 pupils
* Calm, adaptable, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Passion for inclusive education
