What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and supporting depot staff to work safely, effectively, and to high standards
* Ensuring maintenance output and SLA targets are achieved through smart resource planning
* Creating and sustaining a safe, positive, and inclusive working environment
* Developing a cost-effective, customer-focused workforce, championing continuous improvement
* Managing depot activities so rolling stock is delivered on time, to standard, and ready for service
* Driving environmental performance improvements within the depot
* Producing manpower and workload indicators to ensure efficient deployment of resources
* Deploying fleet into service in line with the train service plan and franchise requirements
* Maintaining accurate and effective maintenance management systems
* Providing technical guidance and making decisions aligned with engineering and industry standards
* Leading or supporting incident and accident investigations
* Working closely with Training and Competency teams to develop skills, confidence, and capability
* Supporting wider business objectives through additional tasks as directed by the Depot Manager
