Contract type: These positions are Permanent contracts.
Working pattern/flexible working: The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture of office and home-based work according to your personal needs while balancing business needs. The team aims for around 1 day a week in the office for connection and ad-hoc attendance at key meetings.
Key responsibilities
1. Planning, designing, and writing user-centred copy for the John Lewis Money website and other touchpoints.
2. Working alongside UX and UI Designers in multidisciplinary product teams.
3. Providing a holistic view of the content experience and mapping across all omnichannel touchpoints.
4. Under the direction of the Lead Copywriter, delivering great copy in response to briefs following brand and tone of voice guidelines.
5. Adhering to Financial Promotions regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
6. Advocating for user-centred design within the Partnership and sharing UX writing best practices.
7. Handling other copywriting needs of the business as required.
Essential skills/experience
* Customer-first approach with the ability to view the world from the customer's perspective.
* Relevant copywriting or UX writing experience for digital channels.
* Ability to prioritise work effectively.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Experience in Financial Services or other regulated industries.
Desirable skills/experience
* Experience with Atlassian software (Jira & Confluence).
* Experience working alongside or embedded in Agile sprint teams.
* Comfortable putting content directly into Figma.
