About the Role:
Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for a reputable client based in Scunthorpe. The role involves local trailer runs and 45 national drops per shift, offering straightforward trunking work with regular day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete local trailer runs or 45 national drops per shift
Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift
Accurately complete all paperwork and Proof of Deliveries (PODs)
Ensure professional and timely delivery of goods
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence held for 2 years plus
At least 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
