Job Description & Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Manager to be part of our Consulting practice. The role offers a chance to contribute to and support a variety of client engagements, helping drive project team success within the finance transformation, project management and change and innovation space. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Finance Transformation, Operational Excellence and Finance Technology Implementation as we continue to drive impactful change across key sectors.
You will be self-motivated, capable of working off your own initiative and can lead with the delivery of Programme/Project milestones. You will be required to operate as a key member of our team, playing a lead role in the delivery of business-focused solutions to a wide range of Financial and Non-Financial clients, as well as supporting the strategic development of the wider Consulting business.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Project Management Delivery
* Leading the delivery of complex projects and programmes for key clients, ensuring high-quality outputs and meeting tight deadlines.
* Demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Defining and driving projects across all stages of the project life cycle.
* Managing cross-functional teams spanning multiple business units and functions.
* Devising comprehensive project plans, defining roles and responsibilities and creating clear communications strategies.
* Identifying and implementing innovative process improvements and solutions.
* Building client relationships and interacting with key stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and provide analysis to inform client deliverables.
* Applying learnings from ongoing/prior projects to provide innovative and holistic solutions to clients.
* Business Development
* Offer expert advice on financial processes, systems, technologies and operational improvements.
* Act as a key liaison between multi-faceted project teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
* Facilitate workshops to define project scopes and business requirements, documenting and sharing outcomes with stakeholders.
* Engage stakeholders across disciplines to drive project momentum and success.
* Support and drive business development initiatives, including proposals and tenders for new client opportunities.
Skills And Experience
Education and Certifications
* A third level degree with a strong academic record.
* Desirable to have or be working towards or have a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, QFA).
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills And Competencies
* Experience delivering business change in finance transformation areas such as:
o Finance process improvement and automation (Order to Cash; Procure to Pay; Record to Report; Budgeting and Planning)
o Shared Services and Outsourcing programmes
o ERP implementations
o Finance systems (Oracle, SAP, MS)
o Programme/project management for large-scale transformations
o Finance Reporting including Value & Performance Management
* Strong financial management experience and analytical skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to professional and client service excellence.
* Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
* Experience in leading business development opportunities and client proposals is favorable.
* Experience engaging with C-Suite / Senior Management.
* Proactive, curious mindset with initiative to identify new opportunities.

Flexible Working Environment
Grant Thornton promotes a flexible working environment and currently supports a hybrid model. We also offer a compressed working week around Bank Holidays and June–August, allowing finish at 3pm on Fridays subject to client approval.
