Overview

Join to apply for the Relief Support Worker role at CrossReach. One morning you might be supporting someone to head out for a swim; later, joining them on a shopping trip, helping with an appointment, or simply being there to listen over a cup of tea. This is the heart of being a Support Worker with CrossReach. Every day is different, but each one is about walking alongside adults experiencing mental health difficulties, encouraging independence, and supporting them to live life their way.


Responsibilities

* Supporting people to plan and enjoy their day, whether that is cooking, socialising or a favourite hobby.
* Helping with medication, appointments and day-to-day routines.
* Encouraging confidence, choice and community involvement.
* Offering patience, kindness and practical support in equal measure.

This role requires PVG membership, SSSC registration, and a commitment to working within our Christian ethos.

Requirements & Important Information

* PVG membership and vetting checks required.
* Registration with SSSC and meet its standards for registration.
* You must have permission to work in the UK. Entitlement to work checks are performed for all prospective employees.
