Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring maximum plant availability and stable plant performance
* Investigation and solving of plant incidents
* Optimize, maintain and manage maintenance systems for plants and cranes
* Controlling total cost of process and consumables
* Maintain plant SHE system to comply with AMSA standards
* Development and implementation of Sinter plant specific practices to improve overall plant performance
* RCA on incidents and maintenance plan
* Manage capital projects
* Troubleshooting of process and equipment bottlenecks
Qualifications:
* B-Eng Degree (NQF 8/10) in Electrical Engineering
Experience and Requirements:
* Minimum 6 years plant experience
* Good general knowledge of safety
* Technically strong with exceptional practical application of theory
* Computer literate (SAP, Word, Excel, Simulation software like Power Master) - using databases to retrieve information will be an advantage
* Basic financial skills
