Class 1 Driver
Menzies Distribution are looking for a number of HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customer, providing a first class service with our team in Coalville.
What You Really Want To Know:
1. Salary: £43,917.12
2. Monday to Friday Shift Pattern working Nights.
3. 50 Hours Per Week
4. The holiday allowance is 28 days inclusive of bank holidays
5. Monthly Pay
6. Parking Onsite
HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:
7. General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
8. Delivering product on behalf of MDS and their customer
9. Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
10. Assisting with loading and unloading
11. Use of moffett truck (night shift)
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:
12. A full UK C+E licence
13. 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
14. Excellent driving skills
15. No more than 6 points on your licence
16. No previous disqualifications
17. Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
