Job Title: SEN School Support Worker
Location: Harlow
Pay: £80-100 per day
Hours: 8.30am-3:30pm
Join our passionate team as an SEN Support Worker, providing crucial support to students with diverse special educational needs. This rewarding role involves working within a classroom setting, assisting with behavior interventions, sensory play, personal care, feeding, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Individualized Support: Work closely with students with Autism, Down Syndrome, Speech and Language needs, and more, tailoring support to their unique requirements.
Behaviour Interventions: Implement effective strategies to support positive behavior and encourage a conducive learning environment.
Sensory Play: Engage students in sensory activities to enhance their learning experience.
Personal Care and Feeding: Provide assistance with personal care tasks and support in feeding, ensuring the well-being of students.
Peer Interaction: Encourage and facilitate positive peer interactions, promoting social development.
Classroom Support: Assist in supporting students' learning within the classroom environment.
Requirements:
Right to Work in the UK: Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK.
SEN Experience: Previous experience working with SEN, either in a paid or personal capacity.
DBS: Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
