The Role:
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Bolton, with a mix of office and site work across the North West.
You’ll be responsible for the electrical aspects of installations including solar PV, boiler wiring, battery storage, and EV chargers, working closely with our install coordinators and project managers.
You’ll be a key team member, helping to ensure smooth and safe installations, and occasionally supporting other engineers with electrical advice or troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out electrical work on solar PV systems, boiler installs, and heating controls
2. Complete testing, commissioning, and certification (NICEIC-backed)
3. Work with office teams to schedule and deliver installations
4. Perform site assessments and troubleshoot as needed
5. Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards
6. Support the development of electrical processes within the business
7. Assist with training junior engineers or subcontractors as needed
What We’re Looking For
* Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2, etc.)
* NICEIC experience or scheme knowledge is desirable
* Experience in domestic solar PV, heating systems, or general electrical installs
* Confident with AC/DC wiring, inverters, isolators, and certification
* Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Willingness to occasionally travel within the region

* Salary: £31,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
