If you’re looking for a new experience, and you’re used to leading varied teams, achieving high standards and running smooth operations, you could make a real difference by working for Europe’s largest conservation charity.
We’re looking for a Property Operations Manager at Bodnant to be responsible for the daily operation of this busy and much-loved National Trust site, and for introducing improvements to make it as welcoming as possible for everyone.

What it's like to work here
This world-famous 80-acre botanical garden with spectacular views across Snowdonia is a joy to be part of in every season. Bodnant’s large gardening staff work hard to maintain the much admired and inspiring plant collections, expansive lawns and colourful terraces, and there is a real family atmosphere within the long established group. The team welcome forward thinking and creative people with a collaborative approach, and love of the outdoors. You're likely to need your own transport to get here.
What you'll be doing
You’ll work collaboratively with your colleagues – particularly those in visitor experience, programming and facilities – to run the visitor operations here. Together, you’ll be making sure that every visitor has what they need to have their best possible day, as well as the chance to discover the work of the Trust for themselves.
You’ll help your team with their priorities and the confidence to achieve their goals, providing them with the care, resources and direction they need to succeed.
In your position in the leadership team, you’ll be involved in the strategic direction of the whole place. From time to time, you will stand in for the General Manager to run the place or attend external partner meetings in their absence. And you’ll be expected to work some weekends and evenings, as required.
