VACANCY CHEF DE PARTIE Riviera International Centre, Torquay The Riviera International Centre is an iconic destination site in the South West with extensive conferencing and event facilities, including a conference auditorium, arena/exhibition hall and additional meetings and function rooms. A rare and excellent opportunity has arisen to recruit a full time Chef de Partie to work primarily in our Cafe but also in our Events department delivering a variety of menus. Main Duties To work closely with the Head Chef to supervise all kitchen operations for the cafe and events To work closely with the Head Chef on stock ordering, rotation & control To work closely with the head chef on maintaining kitchen hygiene, health, and safety standards, and ensuring the quality of the food served to customers and guests Produce high quality food both design and taste wise Assist the F&B Manager with ordering supplies and stock inventory in the absence of the Head Chef. Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers The Person Will have cooking experience in a cooked to order kitchen environment Will possess a friendly, approachable and ‘can do’ attitude. Will be passionate about providing exceptional quality food. Will be flexible - evening and weekend work will apply. Will be exceptionally well organised with good communication skills.
