Location: Southampton/Hampshire
Salary: Up to £48,000 + Company Van + OT
Hours: Monday to Friday,, 40 hours per week
Contract: Full Time Permanent

What You Will Do
Implement, direct, monitor and control the EMCOR commercial framework consistently across all projects including customer contracts, risk and legal requirements.
Improve the profitability and competitive performance of the business through selling and negotiating skills and maximising opportunities.
Relentless pursuit of reduced risk and optimised profit on a contract/contract basis and of additional valuable opportunities.
Establish business relationships with operations, estimators & finance functions within the division.
Provide monthly business analysis of projects to the senior project management team.
Provide commercial input to business proposal.
Full responsibility for the negotiations, valuations, interims and final accounts.
Display EMCOR UK's values through the application of professional commercial practice and principles.
Provides effective and appropriate leadership, including team spirit and company ethos, culture and values.

About The Role
Who you'll be:
Essential Experience
Project Management : Proven experience overseeing fire and security system installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
Team Supervision : Experience in managing and coordinating on-site engineers and subcontractors.
Health & Safety Compliance : Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g., BS 5839, BS 5266, or NSI standards).
Budgeting And Scheduling
Ability to manage project timelines, costs, and resources efficiently.
Client Liaison : Experience in communicating with clients to manage expectations and provide project updates.
Problem-Solving : Ability to resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently.
Quality Control : Ensuring installation work meets safety and regulatory standards.
Documentation : Experience with preparing project reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
Vendor Coordination : Ability to manage relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of equipment
Minimum
Education/Training:
Ensure good timekeeping and housekeeping.
18th Edition qualified electrician
Professional, presentable appearance.
Good Communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable.
Administration Skills
PC literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office Applications
