Store Manager
Location: Bromley
Salary: £34,500 per annum + Bonus
Job Type: Permanent | Full-time (40 hours per week, including weekends)
About the Role
We are recruiting a Store Manager to lead a store in a friendly, high‑footfall location that plays a key part in supporting brides during one of the most important moments of their lives. This role requires a confident leader who can balance exceptional service with strong commercial results, while maintaining a beautifully presented and well‑run store.
You’ll oversee a dynamic team, manage daily operations, and ensure that every bride and their family enjoys a memorable, supportive and personalised experience from the moment they walk through the door.
This environment suits a manager who enjoys both the buzz of a busy shop floor and the challenge of driving performance across KPIs, stock, standards and staff development.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading, motivating, and developing your team to consistently exceed sales targets and KPI goals
* Managing operational excellence across stock, tills, store presentation, and staffing in a fast‑paced setting
* Creating a welcoming, organised, and professional environment even during peak trading hours
* Using sales and performance data to drive decisions and create action plans
* Recruiting, training and empowering your team to deliver excellent customer service under pressure
* Responding to challenges quickly and confidently, using your initiative and experience
* Handling customer queries and escalations with empathy, speed and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Store Manager in a high‑footfall retail environment (e.g. city centre, outlets, fast fashion, or luxury volume retailers)
* Strong leadership skills with a calm, clear, and hands‑on management style
* Excellent commercial awareness and confidence managing KPIs and performance data
* Resilience, adaptability and a proactive mindset – you’ll be a go‑to problem solver
* A natural people leader who enjoys coaching and developing teams
* Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, even at pace
