We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic Senior HR Advisor to join the People team at a leading Higher Education Institute during a period of restructure and organisational change. In addition to the hourly rate you will accrued holiday pay. I am also happy to discuss a day rate if you prefer. Hybrid role This is a key role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, with a particular focus on employee relations and supporting individuals through change. You will attend and guide sensitive meetings, review and approve follow-up actions, and oversee documentation such as settlement agreements and redundancy confirmations. You’ll also ensure enhanced redundancy payments are applied fairly and consistently in line with policy. What you’ll do * Advise on employee relations matters including redundancy, grievance and performance. * Support and attend individual meetings, ensuring clear process and accurate documentation. * Review and approve settlement agreements and redundancy letters. * Manage enhanced redundancy payments. * Ensure compliance with employment law while promoting inclusion and fairness. About you * CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent). * Significant experience in complex employee relations casework. * Strong knowledge of UK employment law and settlement agreements. * Excellent communicator, confident in handling sensitive issues. * Organised, professional and able to juggle multiple cases.
