About The Team And The Role
As an Ecommerce Revenue Management Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the cross department online revenue management strategy to drive Ocado sales and profit objectives.
What You’ll Do
* Supporting with our short, medium and long term overall ocado.com sales forecasts and producing scenario plans based on projected customer behaviour and influential internal and external factors.
* Communicating sales ambition to stakeholders and peers and coordinating marketing, merchandising and trading plans to align with the revenue targets within week.
* Ensure we trade key seasonal periods successfully, such as Easter, Summer, and Christmas.
* Creating detailed analysis, reporting and research to effectively track KPI performance and provide clear recommendations to optimise trade revenue.
* Optimise revenue opportunities with Logistics and Operations to drive profitable growth across capacity, customer experience and demand efficiency.
* Cross-team focus on improving site traffic conversion to order placement through slot availability trials, deep dives into capacity utilisation and iterating our approach to geographical demand forecasting.
* Scope and suggest improvements to reporting, such as basket size prediction reporting, to ensure sales targets are met by selling out our slots in full every day.
Who You Are
* Commercially astute with the ability to identify business opportunities and use your innovative thinking to support growth.
* Strong knowledge of ecommerce and associated metrics to drive a digital business.
* Organised and great stakeholder management skills – you will have the capability to plan strategically and deliver plans through influencing cross functional teams.
* Ability to use insights and data to make commercially driven decisions that optimise the customer experience.
* Strong communicator, influencer and problem solver.
* Dynamic to changing customer demands and reacting to trading priorities.
* Inquisitive about customer behaviour.
* Ability to lead own work.
