Job Description
The Part Time Accounts Assistant role will be 3 days perk week -22. 5 hours per week and will be full time office based in Ashton. The role is initially a 6 month contract which could be extended. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:
3. Process and record all supplier invoice and credit notes received in a timely manner and in accordance with the company purchase to pay policies
4. Assist with supplier statement reconciliations to the supplier ledgers
5. Pursue in a timely manner all supplier invoicing queries / discrepancies providing documented support as necessary
6. Ensure supplier credit notes are received and processed in a timely manner
7. Manage and maintain best practice in line with company, group and audit policies
8. Assist with AP month end close procedures
9. Assist Senior Credit Controller with query resolution and debt collection
The Successful Applicant
In order to apply for the role you should:
10. Ideally have previous experience in Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger
11. Be able to consider a temporary contract initially
12. Be looking for a part time role
13. Be able to commute to Ashton office
