We are seeking a Hospitality Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure an excellent customer experience while supporting our wider community and mental health mission.
Responsibilities
You will manage the day‑to‑day running of the café, ensuring smooth operations, high service standards, and effective team leadership.
* Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the café, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding customer experience.
* Lead, train, and motivate a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
* Manage stock control, supplier relationships, and cost efficiencies.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, food hygiene, and Kashrut compliance.
* Coordinate community events and private venue hire, ensuring seamless service.
* Work closely with our community programme team to support mental health initiatives within the café space.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in hospitality or venue management.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Experience in operational planning, cost control, and supplier negotiations.
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a social enterprise setting.
* An understanding of food hygiene, safety regulations, and Kashrut compliance (or willingness to learn).
* A collaborative mindset, with experience working alongside community and volunteering teams.
