This Branch Manager role sits at the heart of our Truck and Trailer operation, leading a local branch while playing a key role in revenue growth, fleet utilisation, customer retention, and safety. If you are an experienced Branch Manager, Operations Manager, or aspiring General Manager within asset rental, transport, logistics, or fleet services, this could be the next step you have been looking for.
Lead the day to day performance of a Truck and Trailer branch, balancing commercial results with operational excellence.
Own branch revenue, contribution, and fleet utilisation, forecasting performance and driving sustainable growth.
Build strong, long term customer relationships through handovers, reviews, and proactive service delivery.
Ensure full compliance across health and safety, operator licensing, driver regulations, and internal audit standards.
Act as the visible leader on site, setting standards, supporting your team, and representing Dawsongroup professionally.
About You
You are someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and seeing the impact of your decisions on people, customers, and performance. You may not tick every box, but you bring transferable leadership experience, commercial awareness, and the confidence to run a complex operation.
Experience leading teams in a branch, depot, fleet, rental, transport, or operational environment.
Comfortable managing performance against targets, KPIs, and budgets, with a practical and people focused approach.
Confident building relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
A natural coach who enjoys developing others and creating a positive, inclusive workplace.
Organised, safety conscious, and calm under pressure, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
