Join a Landmark Gas Processing Project in the Middle East

Are you a Control Systems Engineer with a passion for technically challenging, high-impact energy projects? Petroplan is hiring for a long-term contract role on the Shaybah NGL Recovery Project—a flagship development supporting Saudi Arabia’s strategy to expand ethane and petrochemical production.

This is your opportunity to contribute to a world-class greenfield LNG/gas processing facility, working on the project from early design phases through execution.

* Support Conceptual, Pre-FEED, and FEED phase deliverables
* Design and develop process control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA)
* Prepare instrument specifications, data sheets, I/O lists, and P&IDs
* Define instrumentation requirements for custody/fiscal metering
* Coordinate electrical and instrumentation interface design
* Contribute to Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) in line with IEC 61508 & IEC 61511
* Solid experience in gas processing or LNG projects
* Familiarity with custody metering instrumentation standards
* Proven background in greenfield, onshore oil & gas facilities
* Expertise in early-phase project work (Concept, Study, FEED)
* Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and safety standards

* £50/hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay and pension)
* Full-time onsite in Leatherhead (5 days/week, non-negotiable)
