About the Pastry Chef Role
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef with a strong background in Rosette-level or equivalent fine dining environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the pastry section, contributing creative ideas to seasonal menus, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, design, and present a range of high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and afternoon tea items.
Work closely with the Head Chef to develop innovative and seasonal dessert offerings.
Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, organization, and food safety within the pastry kitchen.
Train, mentor, and inspire junior team members.
Manage ordering, stock control, and wastage effectively.
Requirements
Proven experience at Rosette level or above within a fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
Strong technical pastry skills and a creative approach to modern plating and presentation.
Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a dynamic team.
Relevant culinary qualifications and food hygiene certifications.
