Description Job Duties: Sales & Account Management Develop and manage smaller accounts and non-pharmacy targets (e.g., Amazon, drug stores, short line wholesalers). Influence purchasing decisions and contribute to commercial and pricing strategies. Monitor key account orders, resolve queries promptly, and maintain strong communication channels. Build and sustain relationships with diverse client groups through regular meetings and negotiations. Identify and convert opportunities into sales through persuasive negotiation and proactive engagement. Operational & Administrative Support Process customer purchase orders and manage product availability requests in the Movianto system. Handle customer credit claims and support finance activities, including receivables follow-up (e.g., half-year and year-end). Manage supplier invoicing and budgeting, including vendor form setup, PO approvals, and accurate documentation. Strategic & Collaborative Activities Share market intelligence and competitor insights to inform regional strategies. Conduct local market research in collaboration with marketing and business development teams. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards. Plan and manage resources effectively, including materials, travel costs, and other sundries. Engage with corporate services (finance, marketing, business development) to align on business objectives. Performance & Compliance Be accountable for the financial performance of assigned regions and client base. Demonstrate proficient use of office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Act in line with company values and maintain adherence to pharmaceutical supply regulations. Requirements Minimum 5–7 years of experience in account management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry/FMCG. Proven track record of managing large national accounts, multiple retail pharmacy groups, short line wholesalers and delivering revenue growth. A strong understanding of the UK generics market with established customer relationships. Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred. An understanding of NHS funding models via ICB’s and pharmacy. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. OTC and Women’s Health experience an advantage.
