Job Details Job Title: Professional Services Installation Engineer Reports to: Professional Services Delivery Manager Division: Professional Services Location: Hybrid, most days in-office or on-site, and remote when projects allow. Office is located at Cirrus House, 1 Berrymoor Court, Cramlington, Northumberland, NE23 7RZ. Some out of business hours may be required at times due to the nature of project work. Job Purpose This role involves implementing installation projects for clients both on-site and remotely as well as providing installation assistance to the Professional Services Consultants when required. The role predominantly covers the North East of England but also may include UK wide services at times. This role provides a great opportunity for the right person to grow their existing skills into a wide area of market leading technologies. Job Role The Professional Services Installation Engineer will be operating as part of the Professional Services Team to deliver new project installations and upgrade projects. These projects will mainly be concentrating on endpoint device installation and security strengthening, WiFi surveys and WiFi solution installations, Microsoft 365 tenancy projects including setup, migrations and security enhancement, cloud security deployments and local domain AD project work. The role involves solution verification from presales, solution planning and implementation and final solution testing before project sign off. Producing high quality and accurate installation documentation is a key part of the role. You will have responsibility for successfully delivering projects from start to finish. Understanding when to escalate any issues is also a required attribute. Working within a team environment you will contribute towards shared learning across the team including providing technical assistance and guidance to colleagues when needed. The role requires an amount of self-education to supplement any formal training courses provided to ensure your skills are kept as current as possible. Knowledge, Skills & Expertise required Good communication skills. This is a client facing role, the successful candidate must have the ability to communicate clear and concise information to people of all levels. A self-motivated and positive attitude with a strong customer service ethic is a key requirement for the role. Time and job priority management skills are essential. A pro-active and enthusiastic team player, capable of working on own initiative, along with strong planning and organisation skills and thorough attention to detail. Demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills resulting in effective problem solving. A Full Driving Licence is Required Experience of implementing and supporting the following: Windows Desktops / Intune Deployments. Windows/Microsoft 365. Microsoft Entra ID WiFi solutions (some firewall experience is beneficial) Windows Server Infrastructure. Active Directory Salary £27,500 – £29,000
