Shift Engineer Louth £47,074.71 per annum Full-time Permanent Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days: 6am6pm, 2 nights: 6pm6am)

The Role: We are looking for a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team at our Louth site. You will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring maximum machinery uptime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include: Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs Supporting machine availability and operational performance Conducting routine testing, calibration, and fault finding Maintaining accurate engineering records and ensuring audit readiness Promoting and adhering to Health & Safety standards Contributing to continuous improvement projects and initiatives
About you: We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ideally have: An electrical bias with strong mechanical knowledge Experience with PLC systems and drives A methodical, root cause approach to fault finding Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work as part of a team Excellent organisational and time management abilities The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices within manufacturing Computer literacy (experience with CMMS systems is advantageous)
