Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (dependent on experience)

About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Aylesbury from Easter 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging and relevant lessons that equip students with valuable knowledge in enterprise, finance, marketing, and the wider business world.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
Prepare well-structured lessons aligned with curriculum and examination board requirements.
Create a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment that supports progress for all learners.
Monitor and assess student performance, using data to inform planning and targeted support.
Encourage independent thinking and real-world application of business concepts.
Contribute to departmental development and wider school initiatives.
Build effective relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to promote achievement and wellbeing.
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current exam specifications.
Confident classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
A reflective and proactive approach to professional development.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
