Central Midlands Audit Partnership (CMAP) hosted by Derby City Council is a progressive Internal Audit Partnership, delivering a professional audit service to several Councils and Public Authorities in the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire. We are well regarded by all our Partners and external clients. CMAP currently provides internal audit services to eight Councils, the East Midlands Combined County Authority, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Authority and a Housing ALMO.

We are looking for experienced individuals with a sound working knowledge of risk and system based auditing, to join our modern and versatile team. You will be required to review and manage audit assignments across a wide range of services provided by our partners and assist Audit Managers and the Head of the Partnership with client relations, audit planning and staff management. A good grasp of activities delivered by public sector bodies and the ability to multi-task is desirable. Working remotely or at one of the partners' offices, you will need excellent interpersonal, communication and IT user skills and be able to oversee audit activity and guide CMAP audit staff in their audit work. A relevant professional qualification is essential.
