What You’ll Do:
1. Lead application engineering processes, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and Schindler Group guidelines
2. Coordinate resources to achieve financial, quality, and efficiency targets—delivering solutions with first pass yield and on-time delivery.
3. Champion customer-centric support, keeping stakeholders informed and empowered with knowledge of our products and tools
4. Design and engineer both custom and pre-engineered lift solutions, from initial concept through to delivery
5. Produce detailed process calculations, design specifications, and layout drawings to the highest standards
6. Perform final configuration, generate bills of materials, and prevent costly gaps in the process
7. Oversee rigorous checks and risk analyses to ensure precision and safety
8. Provide expert technical support, solve claims, and collaborate closely with project managers
Uphold and promote our safety culture, actively contributing to Schindler’s health and safety objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
9. Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
10. Proven experience in engineering design and technical calculations
11. Hands-on with CAD (ideally 3D) and AutoCAD
12. Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Schindler’s design tools: Drive, Rail, Car Weight Calculation, LBLC, LiftDesigner, CREO Parametrics/Simulate, PNC, MODB, and Lotus Notes
